How amazing are these before and afters?
The dining room was sad and stuffy

This room is a breath of fresh air - I am totally taken with the wing chairs. The fabric is by Kravet

Always good to put stalks of straw in a baron corner and you never have to water it :)

This was a what do we do with this room room

Now it is not only the best place to read a book but an Out of Africa Moment - Of course I am in love with the Madeline Weinrib rug which Suzannadana turned me on to. ! The day bed is from Mohr & McPherson

The living room before there was unity

Where great conversations are born - I freaked over the straw oversize snake basket from Home Goods

White, Orange and Chocolate + a little greenery = the perfect color combination.

Did I mention these pillows - perfection.

These straw end tables are lighter and more heavenly in person.

gorgeous! and you know how i love a good home transformation ;)

ReplyDeleteFabulous! I actually have those mirrored pillows on a window seat...but not styled nearly half as cool as this...until NOW! :)
ReplyDeleteThe dining room is a great place to try out orange, if you don't feel comfortable to live with it full-time! Like red, orange is a warm colour that stimulates appetite and thought - two things which are good to bring to the table, especially when you have some guests over. Remember how we said back in our first post - this isn't a hue just to be celebrated in Autumn; it is a hue that can energise the home throughout the seasons. If you need some inspiration then look no further - we plucked out two dining rooms that show just how well orange works in this room.
