My New Favorite TV show and it is only 7 minutes long!


LOVING Web Therapy! It is sooooooo funny . I had to share. Lisa Kudrow is brilliant  as is Julie Claire in this episode! It is a webisode not actually on TV - YET!  I promise watch all three and you will be both shocked and giggle uncontrollably.

The Best Date Night in LA - with or without kiddies!


Tonight was absolutely perfect! My husband and I had a date night and took the kids along it it still felt like date night - I think it was my favorite dining experience in LA so far 


We started at  Manpuku Tokyo BBQ (where you cook your own fish and meat on the table) 



Not even a little bit sorry that I ate the whole thing - ok maybe a little

A THING I am OBSESSING over!


 
I know this sounds totally crazy but a year ago my husband and I went to a restaurant on Park Avenue South and on the table was this little sugar caddy so small that had everything you could ever need for your tea or coffee and I have been OBSESSING over it for a year now. Even my husband who never notices anything like that thought it was super cool. Well he finally found it!


Salt, Pepper, Milk, Sugar and Tea - The restaurant even had a  space for Splenda and honey. AHHHHH Restaurant living! Of course it's not cheap but it is cheaper than a car.

Hot Topic... A DIY girls Pet Peeve that you all need to hear.


I LOVE LOVE LOVE reader posts - LOVE and today I got a good one from GF


"Ok, I love this blog. This is a snarky comment but more of a general snarky comment than one focused on exactly what is posted here. Disclaimer done.

I am a DIY'r when it comes to painting and such. Why to so many people say "I painted the kitchen" when they hired it done. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say "I had the kitchen painted" or "Fantastic Painter David just finished with a fabulous coat of white in my kitchen"

I am less irked when it is a much more complex task or group of tasks "we built a house" I get because even just picking a lot and floor plan and letting the builder do all the work is really rather hard. Versus grabbing a paint chip and calling David."

Well GF I get it BIG TIME! Won't happen again - promise! And thank you because it is something I have NEVER thought about but makes TOTAL sense.  I would never paint my own kitchen because I have done it before and it was a disaster. I do however have a friend her name is Kate Betts who used to change the color of her apartment with the seasons and did it herself - I was always so impressed by that - It stuck with me all these years later. How often do you change the color of your walls and do you Paint it or employ someone like David Fantastic?

7 Things you don't know about me ... or maybe you do ...Stylish Blogger Award

Thank you Jill from Live Like You (one of my favorite blogs) for nominating Dwellers Without Decorators for the Stylish Blogger Award.


I’m supposed to follow these three rules.

Here are 7 Things about me:
1. I am OBSESSED with water skiing - I even go to a little place in Orlando called the Swiss Ski School to just spend a week and live in a shack and ski - I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
2. I am the worlds worst speller-OK if you read this blog you know this fact... but even still,  I wrote a book about a guy who dumped me called Getting Over John Doe and it has been published in 5 languages. 
3. I have three boys named after Cities in Texas - and there is absolutely no reason why - Oddly enough  there is a Football player named David Carr who has kids with all the same names and same ages - strange.  David if you read this lets have a family play date - we can come to you! 
4.  I am incapable of looking at things negatively - I am the ultimate lemonade maker!  People both love and hate me for this.
5. I become totally focused on random things and then move on to the next weekly  - Since I have lived in LA here is my list so far, Gardening, Bracelet making, Tarot Card Reading, Bar Method, Bicycling, Burn 60 - so far so good.
6.  I am married to my total opposite - We even played the Newly Wed Game and I though about how I would answer each question and then answered the opposite and we won. I am also the president  of his fan club! He is the sweetest man on the planet - OK -  I'll  stop gushing now! 
7. I speak gibberish, ubbydubby and really bad  French.  
Bthgy Frthgiends. 
  So many of my favorites have been nominated by Jill at Live Like You  but I can't pick 10 when I read all of these every day!
