1 Day Bedroom Makeover

I really enjoyed this month's House Beautiful but my absolute favorite part was the bedroom makeover done by decorator Amanda Nisbet - It gave you minute by minute of how she took the most boring bedroom on the planet and made it an event all in one day. Thank you for posting these shots My Notting Hill I wish I could find the before or that I had a scanner. It really is worth picking up an issue.

The headboard ROCKS!  And a single patterned pillow.

Never thought to put a desk in front of an ugly radiator - fantastic and she had a good tip about not matching a mirror to the console.  The cool plant in the corner makes the room - OH how I wish you could see the before!

Bungalow Hotel Making the Jersey Shore Chic

I just spent the most divine weekend at the Bungalow, a hotel in Long Branch, NJ and designed by the talented 9 By Design team  Courtney and Bob Novogratz. It took me a little over an hour to get there from Manhattan and there wasn't a Snooki lookalike in sight. I could have spent 2 weeks analyzing every detail.

Le Club - We spent all day here but this was shot with a wide angle lens it is much smaller but just as chic and the view of the ocean is spectacular - it is right on the beach. The food here is delish!

This was the bathroom in our suite and it was in the middle of the room

Each room had a fireplace that went on at the turn of a switch -

This lobby is so much fun  that we had a hard time leaving. There are candles in the columns and the bookshelf is even more amazing in person

The out door fire place is a the perfect hangout spot

I am always so happy when Caitlin Wilson posts her gorgeous work on her  blog Style Files.  She truly knows how to make every room pop with pillows. 

This couch with pillows and throws takes my breath away

Since you can't put pillows in the kitchen she does it with bright pink towels and matching flowers

Finally Black & Spiro revealed

I  don't know about you but I am a HUGE fan of the blog Absolutely Beautiful Things and Anna Spiro's store Black & Spiro. This week Anna will reveal the rest of her store but here is a look so far.  I for one think it's GENIUS!

This makes me sad that I don't live in Australia - How amazing is the pink suzani chair? 

Another coral and blue moment I don't want to ever ever forget. BTW I have and still do adore navy with white piping, And the blue and coral lamps are perfection.

What are those silver vases and why have I never seen them before?

The suzanni bench, fushia  couch and black and white curtains make me want to shed tears of joy :)
