Foyer Makeover ..The Importance of a good light fixture!

This is a perfect example of the importance of light fixtures! I am so impressed by designer  Lauren Liess's  Foyer Before and After Love the idea of putting the framed sketches all the way to the ceiling.  My weekend project is to  go through every image of her blog Pure Style Home

I am not a fan of the sleeper sofa mostly because there aren't many cute ones but  for the new Cali rental(which is totally furnished )  I have to buy one for the convertible den  These are my top three - Which should I pick.?  Oh and BTW - would HAVE to change the color of the MGBW - I am not a beige girl.

Everyone always asks me what the quickest way to make your apartment look better and my answer is this - 1. Paint.  2. Light Fixtures and 3. Window treatments.  Although I love colored curtains and even more patterned ones - they get old quick so I always recommend White which looks modern chic and flawless.
