  3. Definitely not! It would freak me out. My former dentist has one like the third picture, but the last three are insane. Would you?

  6. We'd have the first fish tank only if someone else took care of it.

  7. most are little too Scarface to me, but the wood clad kitchen is kinda great. And so is the sink.

I wanna know what the annual maintenance fee is.

  8. Even the six figure one triggered my "fish tanks are tacky" gut response. Which is sad, b/c I even like fish as a pet. But all you haters out there--the labrynth is awesome (2nd from end)! If my kids wanted a fish tank, this would be the one I would pick (assuming I could afford it). Although I agree with above...no idea how it gets cleaned.

  9. I just came from the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco and was just mentioning to the partner that we should get a fish tank. However, I was envisioning more ol' skool with a cute goldfish in a fish bowl. I honestly think a few of those tanks cost more than my house. And the "toilet tank" literally made me do a spit take......you just gotta love it.

  12. Are those fish tanks in toilets?? Yikes. My brother had a fish tank growing up - reminds me of dead fish, arguments about cleaning...and feeling bad for the fish. No thanks.

  13. I actually quite like the idea of a fish tank as a focal point ---- probably done a little more low key, but yes, I really like it!

  14. The first and second one are ridiculous as far as fish care standards are involved. The first one has too little decoration this causes the fish to panick and die early. It's like this, if you were placed ina glass box with just a little rock and hundreds of people watching you wouldn't you like somewhere to hide every once in a while? Also the bare bottom, though it can be done, confuses fish covering the bottom and the back gives the fish a feeling of security. I would not pay six figures for these. Although the sink is cool.
