Turn Your Closet into an office.. Why don't you?

I have to admit I am OBSESSED with the show Clean House! I record it every day and fast forward to the end. How do people live like that - EWWWW! I am totally inspired to clean house all of the time and Edit all the junk out which got me thinking. Why not empty an entire closet and turn it into an office.? So much better than storing wrapping paper and tote bags  and boxes of stuff you don't care about anymore?

  3. not sure if you're asking about this pic but the photo second from the bottom is a picture of Marcia Cross's dressing room on "desperate housewives" set...think this is from in style magazine from a few years back. you can see a pic of her twins as babies on the desk...

  4. Great collection; I saved that first one from when I first saw it too. Love it. I did something similar to a closet in my den; converted it to open storage and the lower portion became my dogs little "home". Much more functional than it was as a closet.

  6. I've always loved the desk in a closet idea - especially since you can just close the doors and it all goes away! :)

  9. I'd love to be able to hide my bills and paperwork behind closed doors. So many great idea, just wish I had an available closet to spare.

  11. Love that idea!! Especially for those with small spaces, or a family of kids who take up all the bedrooms!

  12. This is a fantastic idea! I wanted to do this when we tore out our old wet bar but we stuck the tv in there instead. Maybe next time I'll use these for inspiration!

  13. Fun idea, but I am thinking rather to turn my office into a closet, not the other way around. Girl needs closet space!

  14. This has totally inspired me to revamp the little desk space I have in the alcove of my bedroom. I'm always wishing for a bigger space but these all look so gorgeous I feel like I should embrace what I have and make it as beautiful as the workspaces here :) Thanks for opening my eyes!

  15. What beautiful pictures and what a grand idea to turn a closet into an office, I wish I had an extra closet in my apartment to try something like that:)

  16. That is the rub... who can spare a closet to do this? That minor technicality aside, it's such a great idea.

  17. Great photos but I am really concerned over someone who lives for the show Clean House. While there are some great ideas there, that loud host drives me bananas!
Also, I love a clean organized home too but more importantly a warm inviting home where I can have friends and family over. No one is ever going to run a white glove over your furniture - (white gloves are so out of style) and no one ( not a true friend) is ever going to judge you on how organized you are inside your cabinets.
    Leave a legacy of hospitality!
