Tonight was absolutely perfect! My husband and I had a date night and took the kids along it it still felt like date night - I think it was my favorite dining experience in LA so far
We started at Manpuku Tokyo BBQ (where you cook your own fish and meat on the table)
Not even a little bit sorry that I ate the whole thing - ok maybe a little
which was more than YUM and so much fun- so much! @ 2125 Sawtelle Blvd., West LA
(310) 473-0580
Then we found this new cozy yummy Churros Place that was BEYOND!
Churros Calientes
11521 Santa Monica Blvd., West Los Angeles; (424) 248-3890.
A churros place, not that is a place I would want to visit!!! Yum!! Good for you and the hubs for taking a night out for a date. Everyone needs couple time now and again, Have a wonderful weekend, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteIt all sounds delicious! I've never had a churros- sad but true.
ReplyDeleteI am hungry already and now looking at that Churro picture is making me crave one! When I lived in Hawaii (yes now I realize how lucky I was) there was an amazing Japanese steak hibachi house where you cooked and selected all your own meats, fish, veges,etc...not only was it beautiful right on the water but the food was perfect, fresh and so delicious. I have always wondered why that concept has not mad eit more mainstream..leave it up to L.A. to have one....tell them to open one in NY:) I love nothing more than when my entire family is together, date nights are fun but have to admit I love having my kids tag along:)
ReplyDeleteSounds like our date nights. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun!
Sounds absollutely delicious and fun!! I've never had churros either!
ReplyDeleteChurros and hot chocolate dip! It's so great!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, my husband and I also frequent Manpuku for our date nights!!! The only downside is you smell like BBQ the rest of the night.
