  6. Hi!! New Follower here!! And the way I literally stumbled upon your blog is like...destiny (cuz I could never retrace my steps!!- well, I saw a photo of yours from Little Green Notebook but that was just one step...ANYWAY, if u ladies saw my flooring at our house built in the late 80s you would be filled with such pity. They are EMBARRASSING! Its probably not nice to rant your first visit to a blog but I have to throw this out there. WHY are people still installing carpet and monotone hardwood? hardwood, ok, I guess. Wood is always beautiful. Carpet, noooooo more. It's gross and germy and even with the most well-behaved, cleanest children, not the best choice. I am always telling my hubby and bro in law I want to do some kind of inexpensive flooring and PAINT IT. Very long response to say, THANK YOU FOR THIS- Very inspiring. Now I have PROOF!!
