  3. I do love a lot about this room. The elephant ears in the vase look fantastic, and the pillows on the ledge emphasize that area as part of the seating area. I also only own sofas that have back and arm height equal. It's much more comfortable.

Things I don't like : The way the green upholstered chairs are placed up against the wall like that make it look like an office waiting room a little. I'd prefer them curved in a little to make it more conversational. Also, that platner/knoll chair next to the sofa looks ridiculous. It's the wrong seat height and is just floating there on its own. I would bet anyone sitting there would feel uncomfortable and out of place.

  6. I am loving the chairs and the rug. Honestly, I am looking for ways to work more ikat into my house. It is slowly replacing my unhealthy love affair with trellis. Hope LA is still rolling out the red carpet for you!

  9. Love the rug. Something about the feel of the room reminds me of your old apartment that you shared earlier this year. Do you miss it?
